Fall Ball

RAYB is happy to support teams that wish to participate in MYAS Fall Ball. Fall Ball participation is coach-managed, meaning RAYB does not conduct formal registration, and participation in Fall Ball is the sole responsibility of each team’s coach. RAYB will coordinate field use and create teams in Crossbar to simplify communication and planning.

Because MYAS Fall Ball teams can include players from multiple communities, the following requirements apply when using fields and Crossbar under RAYB:

Coaching Verification

• Each team must have at least one regular-season RAYB coach with a current Trusted Coaches verification. Any participating non-RAYB coach must provide proof of a clean background check if they are not in Trusted Coaches.

Coach Presence on the Field

• A Roseville coach with current Trusted Coaches verification must be on the field for all practices and games held on Roseville fields.

Equipment

• Coaches should contact the player equipment director if they need gear or if they intend to continue using regular-season team gear.

Team Composition

• Each team must include at least 25% RAYB-registered players on its roster. Exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Game Day Oversight

• MYAS will often schedule games for other teams on Roseville fields on the same dates a Roseville team is playing. As a condition of selecting those fields for use, a RAYB coach must be present while the other teams use the field.

Field Scheduling and Use

• All field use must be reserved through the RAYB scheduler. Once approved, you’ll receive Crossbar access to manage your field reservations according to the process outlined on our Field Scheduling page.

• Teams are responsible for cleaning and dragging fields for games and after practices.

Team Communication

• RAYB can create a Crossbar team to help you communicate with players and families. Registration for this team is free, but all participants must complete the same liability waiver used during the regular season. This waiver will be presented as players are rostered to the team.
